KM Sings

Katherine Stevenson

Vocalist & Vocal Coach

My name is Katherine (Hahnel) Stevenson and I am a resident of Northern Kentucky. I began singing in choir when I was in the 4th grade through NKU's Music Preparatory Department Children's Ensemble (NKCE). I continued to sing for NKU through my junior year of high school and started touring when I was in the 6th grade. I competed in the 2012 World Choir Games receiving Gold as well as toured in St. Louis, San Antonio, Nashville, Washington D.C, and Florida. A few things I was fortunate to be able to do while on tour was to perform in the Kennedy Center, in the Washington D.C. Memorial Day parade, and had a solo while singing in Disney World.

I graduated from NKU with a Bachelors of Music - Vocal Performance and a Bachelors of Accountancy. While studying voice, I performed in two operas, held two solo recitals, and studied abroad in Salzburg, Austria. I studied two semesters of Lyric diction, French, and Italian. (see Education page for more details)

I started singing weddings when I was a sophomore in high school and I started coordinating music when I was a junior in college. My job as a wedding singer is to make sure you have beautiful music that you and your guests will enjoy, before and during your ceremony. As a music coordinator, I work with the bride and groom to find the best music for them, coordinate other musicians if desired, and assist with any program or ceremony questions.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. There are no set prices on this website because each wedding is different and requires different things.
